Wow, what can I say. This place certainly lives up to it's name. I stayed here on a couple of occasions during my time in Ghana. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Particularly Destiny on reception. I had one of the nicer rooms in the same building as reception. Everything was perfect. They even provide a cafetiere, coffee and kettle. I was very comfortable. The common areas were pleasant with plenty of seating. The pool, a godsend in the heat. Chi chi who runs the bar was a definite highlight. There was a good mix of people hanging out there. Both locals and tourists. Food was tasty but portions were small. And they often do not have the things listed on the menu (despite the menu being on wooden blocks which can be removed. Food was supposed to me served until 21/22 (can't remember exactly) but one one occasion it was no longer available way early, without any warning. Across the street is a bar where I hung out with locals and watch football. There are also a couple of basic places to get food. Somewhere Nice is a true refuge from the hussle and bussle of the city.
