We stayed in room 223 and 225 on 17th October 2025. The porter ushered us to our rooms and honestly was looking forward to it. It was a very long walk and after a while I asked him to move forward because honestly I didn’t trust what was happening anymore because it was a long dark corridor and lights were not working. I had a tell my driver to make note of where we were if anything happened - that was how eerie it was. Finally got the rooms at the end of the floor. He opened the room 223 and lo - disgusting stale smell and walked out. The room had not been aired or used for a while. He said he would bring air freshener and turn on the air conditioner, while we go to the other room. The other room has odour but was better than the other. I started scanning the room and saw a stained bedsheet, pillow and pillow cases. I couldn’t believe an a massive edifice like this could be so poorly managed. I literally took off all the bedsheets and pillows. Called the reception for a replacement and it took forever because they didn’t have a spare. It was a real disappointment. We would have left but it was a busy night in town and most hotels were booked. It’s a great place if the management will improve their maintenance culture and ensure wholesome clean environment and not just visible areas.

So Green Legacy is situated in the same place as Obasanjo library. The same massive location I can’t call that compound 🤣. The facility needs a lot of maintenance work to be done, though I can see they are trying their hardest to keep the place running. The whole place is massive. There was shortage of buffet breakfast when we were there. The Kitchen needs to factor the number of people and provide food accordingly, I mean we were fighting for food at the buffet men🤣. Like I said the hotel is in the same premises as the library, cinema, children’s park, zoo, so much to look around and so much to see and do all in one place. My children were very pleased.

Most Horrible experience. First the rooms were not ready till about 3pm when I was ready to check in by 12pm. Then I couldn’t sleep because of raucous noise from a group of hoodlums packed about 20 into a room that made hell of noise all thru the night till morning. Repeated calls to the reception desk changed nothing till 3am when room was changed

The room smells and molding. The air-conditioning doesn't work and the bathroom filthy. Customer service was terrible. Ask to change room but no assistance was given. Hotel manager not available to help.
