Great location to base yourself for a few days of seeing Queenstown. (It really is that close.) Nice and friendly staff at check in and throughout. Most helpful. Ents included TV, books, games, couple of guitars, ocassional theme evenings. Couple of outdoor spaces. Bathrooms are fine although if fairly or more than fairly tall, the shower heads are surprisingly low down. I understand the difficulties with this given the time of year but a floor by floor deep clean is probably needed. Whilst I am no member of the fun police, having numerous notes across the place emphasising the need to keep noise down after 10pm, I can see why this might be a bit galling when the staff who live there alongside guests do not abide by this - especially when you have no idea who is a worker who is off duty. Might be impossible given temperatures, but it wasn't ideal to climb into my bunk in the pitch black (other than the light from my phone) and find a cat sleeping there (honestly!) I like a cat but if I hadn't had my phone lit, I would never have known and would have landed forcefully on it. I actually found it quite funny but a lot wouldn't. All hell could have broken loose if I had landed on it. (Amusingly and no joke, I was watching Don't F*** with Cats at the time and had paused it while I climbed in. Perhaps it was written...) Anyway, really nice spot and right for the price. Cheers!

어떻게 표현해야 할까? 다른 면은 괜찮습니다. 아니, 꽤 좋다고 해야 할까요. 하지만 셀프 체크인이기 때문에 체크인 시간은 오후 3시입니다. 물론, 예약 시에도 명확하게 명시하며, 엄격하게 시행하는 것은 규정 위반이 아닙니다. 하지만 제가 다른 곳에 묵었던 다른 호텔에서는 기본적으로 여유가 있었습니다. 예를 들어, 일찍 체크인하는 경우, 방이 있는 한 체크인을 허용해 주었고, 적어도 전혀 일찍 체크인하는 것은 허용되지 않았습니다. 하지만 이 호텔의 체크인 시간은 오후 3시, 오후 2시 59분, 심지어 오후 2시 59분까지로 제한되어 있습니다. 이메일로 받은 열쇠는 오후 3시 이전에는 사용할 수 없기 때문입니다. 간단히 말해서, 주의를 기울이세요. 정말 이런 것들이 싫다면 여기 머물지 마세요. 특히 일찍 도착했다면 3시까지 문 밖에서 기다려야 합니다. 셀프서비스이고 직원이 없으며, 아무도 당신에게 주의를 기울이지 않을 것입니다. 제게 일어난 일은 다음과 같습니다.

A great experience for a female solo traveler. I Pros I shared a female dorm with three other women and had a great time getting to know those coming in and out. The shared bathroom was always clean (cleaned every day). The communal kitchen is large and well-organised. You can make use of condiments that get left behind. As it was still cold, there are always fires burning both in reception and the common room. It makes the atmosphere very cosy. The best service I got was from their information desk, which is located in the reception area. As I didn't have a credit card and businesses like Snowbiz in town don't accept cash, I was able to pay for ski passes and rental by making a booking at the service desk (they have a card machine and also accept cash). Cons This side of the hostel where my room was located, just experiences a lot of noise, as there are bars down below, despite the sliding door being sound-proof. Not all the reading lamps for each bed work and also need to be fixed. The shower leaked a lot of water, as the glass door doesn't properly close. Overall though, a great stay and value for money. You do save on accommodation, as QT is an expensive town to visit.

주방과 다이닝 공간이 잘 되어있고 호수 뷰가 정말 이쁩니다 아름다운 호수가 코앞이라 새벽에도 밤에도 풍경을 보기 너무 좋습니다 시설은 전체적으로 깔끔한 편입니다. 공항과 도심을 다니는 1번 버스 정류장이 가까워서 무거운 캐리어 끌고 이동에 용의합니다. 수건 유료 헤어드라이어 품질은 넞으나 무료 렌트 수화물 무료 보관

와나카 호수랑 인접하여 위치적으로 너무 좋습니다. 신식건물이라 시설도 괜찮으며 요리도 해 먹을 수 있습니다. 다만 예약 후에 별도 웹페이지나 앱을 통해 체크인을 미리해야되거나 정문 비밀번호 안내가 조금 미흡했던거 같네요. 그거 말고 나머지는 다 좋았습니다.

위치는 시내 중심이라 매우 편리 시설이 오래되었으나 관리를 잘 하려는 느낌 계단과 방 4인실이 좁아서 답답함 부엌은 2개 중 하나는 사용 어려음 냉장고가 고장임 내가 사용한 시간에는 붐비지는 않았으나 싱크가 2개라 부족할 듯 프라이팬이 너무 오래되고 낡음

위치는 정말 좋았어요. 스키 셔틀 버스 정류장과 버스 정류장이 가깝고, 주변에 레스토랑과 슈퍼마켓도 많아서 편리했어요. 방은 작지만 깨끗했고, 창문 없는 방이라 더 조용했네요. 다만, 공용 주방 위생 상태가 좋지 않았어요. 식기들은 다시 씻어야 사용할 수 있을 정도였고, 음식 보관 공간도 정리되지 않고 어수선했습니다.

Always my favourite place to stay when we go to The Catlins. Beach is nearby, sunset view is awesome. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again.
