Kevin was very helpful and served us well. We love the breakfast and the heritage room where we can view Mt Wellington from the windows. It would be better if the room is provided with waste bin.

Fantastic stay. This is also one of the closest accommodations to the visitor centre.  Absolutely cosy vibes with the wooden interior and balcony. Space is big with lots of room to navigate, and have separate areas for to do different things.  Lounge area has games (and heating, of course) if you are locked in by the weather which I thought was a nice touch. There is also a library of DVDs for you to borrow from if you’d like (lots of kids friendly titles). You can also see cradle mountain from the lounge area. Kitchenette was also well furnished with sufficient items for us to do our cooking (you’d know that there aren’t much amenities in the area, please arrive prepared), including salt, pepper, and oil which other places may not actually didn’t provide in a kitchenette.

It's low season. I saw only 2 groups of guests (2 people per group) including mine during our stay. We occupied the best room type (2-bedroom) with kitchenette, hot shower, heater in the dining room, TV, heater to the bedding which is a hearty touch in such a cold area. It can accommodate 7 to 8 people in the room. Very quiet, we only heard waves at the beach which's at the opposite side of the main road about the front of our house. I read many negative comments on the male host (Scott?) before our stay, but our actual experience is that he's ok, we didn't feel anything bad about him. He is kind to advise us the best location to watch stars and southern lights. The worst thing that we must mention is the poor quality of water which is brownish yellow. So we dared not use the tap water for cooking or drinking. This is very undesirable.

The accommodation is very close to the Visitor Centre where all the activities to the National Reserve Park take place. The room is very clean. There is a gas fireplace as well as electric heater to heat up the room. There is also a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, gas stoves and oven. There is the full set of cutlery with pot and pan, cups, bowls and plates. Even salt and pepper are provided. Others like toaster, hairdryer, shampoo, body wash and hand wash are available. We enjoy the stay and cooking our own meals with a convenient store nearby.

크래들 마운틴 방문자 센터까지 도보 거리였습니다. 우리가 처음 도착했을 때 야생 동물을 만났지만 모든 경험은 사랑스럽고 기억에 남습니다. 욕실도 좋았고 히터를 켜서 욕실에서 편안하게 느꼈습니다. 그리고 다른 모든 것은 우리를 수용하기에 좋았습니다!

Everything you need in this house is perfect. The kitchenette is cozy and super warm, thanks to the heater that the house owner had open before we arrived. There’s no heater in the bedroom, but they have a warming blacket instead. It’s just a 30-minute drive from Cradle Mountain. Would recommend this house to everyone who plan traveling to Tasmania.

If you’re lucky, you might encounter their grandchildren swimming and playing, hearing their laughter. 3. The room's amenities are quite high quality, and the space is ample. 4. Breakfast is provided early in the room, including bread, various types of jams and butter, milk, orange juice, and a variety of cereal options. Tea bags are also available. 5. There’s a free washing machine and laundry powder, but no dryer. 6. The location is within a 20-minute drive from Launceston. 7. If you want a quiet and comfortable space, this is a great choice.

good stop in the port arthur area but do note the on-site restaurant does not operate on sundays - tuesdays.

We loved our beautiful and very comfortable room in this characterful property. Very clear instructions provided for easy self check in. Continental breakfast including delicious fresh fruit salad and riendly service.
