Nova... My beloved Nova! Where do I even start with this review? Just thinking about this dreamlike place brings tears to my eyes. This vacation in Nova was incredibly special. After visiting the Maldives in 2019 (Safari Island), I never thought I'd return, but here I was, overwhelmed again by its beauty. When I first researched, it was a bit difficult for me to find my perfect little island. I wanted a beautiful House reef, delicious food, few children/families, beautiful pool, small island, possibility of a water villa with pool... Once I had a shortlist, the choice was actually no longer that difficult. It was clear it would be NOVA for me! And how grateful and happy I am to have chosen this island! We spent 7 nights there in September (we had 50/50 sunshine and cloudy). We spent five nights in a beach bungalow (number 115, which was perfect for us) and two nights in a large water villa with a pool (number 225, with an open sea view). Every aspect of our stay was beyond impressive. And I could hardly be more enthusiastic about everything on this cute little dreamlike island. The journey to the island was already a highlight. Flying by seaplane is always wonderful. We were greeted in a super friendly manner and given refreshments and towels. We were shown our beach villa very quickly. We couldn't have been happier! It was the perfect bungalow for us! A beautiful palm tree in the garden, not far from the sea, a lot of privacy. Simply wonderful. The interior is beautiful and tasteful. Lots of space and very bright. The outdoor bathroom is the absolute top hit. So luxurious! I felt as if we had won the lottery. For the money you pay, you really get a great service! Let's move on to the food: Wow, it was so good! And my god... how kind and wonderful can one be? I want to give the biggest greetings and thanks to Heidi, Naufel, Shahid and all of the other employes, who made not only my birthday one of the best days of my life! Unfortunately, I don’t remember all the names of the wonderful staff. But my boyfriend and I are so grateful to each of them. Your openness and warmth were incredible and made our trip so much nicer and unique! So I can't talk enough about the waiters. The same for the kitchen/chefs. Yes, we've put on weight, your goal has been achieved! haha! The food was delicious and as I'm a veggie, we were even asked if we had any special requests. I thought that was so thoughtful and lovely! As already mentioned, we were there for my birthday! And I was given lots of presents, unbelievable, right? Not only was there a wonderful birthday cake, no, three of the employees made me something or gave me something from home, e.g. a bracelet, a necklace... Can you believe that? That made me so emotional! They are really so kind. The spa also deserves special mention. I was massaged twice by Sari, who simply sent me to 7th heaven! Wow!
