The gran playa is the perfect hotel for a very relaxed holiday for couples, friends and families with adult children. This hotel would not suit folks who are looking for the clubbing/party scene. There is a vast mix of nationalities amongst the hotel guests and I am happy to say that all the guests mixed well with one another. The rooms have decent air con, comfy beds and a fridge which is free to use for your bottles of water. The food and drink is brilliant and I would recommend the all inclusive package (it includes cocktails!) The location of the hotel is perfect, the beach is less than a 5 minute walk. Most local bars and shops are closed by 11pm so there is not much outside noise pollution. All the staff are fantastic, they offer perfect customer service and you feel very welcomed to the hotel. The hotel is modern and very clean. There are different singing acts three times a week that are booked by the hotel. My only minor issue is that the labelling of the food in the buffet restaurant could be better, the english descriptions are either vague, inaccurate or are not available. The kitchen staff struggled to explain the food when asked, however using google translate for the Spanish on the labels did help. I would happily book this hotel again next year!

Really enjoyed our stay here, very laid back and we paid a bargain price through Easyjet Holidays. However, we were offered a room upgrade on arrival for €90, which we took. We were there in the last week of the season so things were winding down but the staff were very helpful and attentive. The entertainment guy Kuba was such a nice guy and although we weren't around for the entertainment, apart from our first night, he always made a point of coming and taking to us when he saw us. The pool was chilly as expected for October but large and useable, no fighting for sunbeds here, there are plenty! The room was OK but needed some refurbing, especially the door which was in bad condition, but I expect these issues will be addressed during the winter closedown. It's about a 10-12 minute walk to the beach, shops and restaurants so maybe a bit further than some people would want, but was OK for us. The included breakfast was fairly good, no real complaints but may not be so good if you're fussy! The evening buffet was €20 each which is probably a bit more than we wanted to pay but we made sure we had plenty. Wine and water need to be paid for on top. Drink and food prices on site are quite expensive so you may want to get some supplies from a shop.

My favourite hotel - had another super holiday in my happy place. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. There is always a good selection of food. Love the adult only pool area. The rooms are spotless and well maintained. The entertainment is brilliant. I can't wait to be back again in June 24.

4월 초 Prinsotel La Dorada에서 4박을 보냈습니다. 우리는 1층에 있는 2베드룸 스위트에 머물렀고 샤워를 처음 사용할 때까지 모든 것이 괜찮았고 몇 분 안에 욕실이 물에 잠겼습니다. 우리는 그것을 리셉션에보고했고 즉시 엔지니어가 문제를 해결하기 위해 찾아왔습니다(적어도 우리는 그것이 수정되었다고 생각했습니다). 모두 좋다. We have just returned from a family holiday at this hotel and we have had a great time and would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re staying in can picafort. We only ate in for breakfast so I can’t comment on any other meals there as we didn’t try them but the breakfast was great. They had a good variety of foods to choose from. We did visit quite late in the year (October) so there wasn’t a lot of children at the hotel for my little girl to socialise with. But they still did a mini disco every evening and the mini club was open every day. My only critique was that there wasn’t many structured activities in the mini club whilst we were there so my toddler got bored quite quickly but it may just of been the time of year like I said. The guy that ran the mini disco of an evening was amazing with the kids and did the whole disco every night in both German and English. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy. We struggled for space because we had a travel cot and the pram in the room along with all our belongings so I would recommend upgrading if you’re a family if possible. Our room also only had a shower which was not great for our two year old who is scared of the shower. We would of been better with a bath. The hotel is in a great location - right on the beach. And about a 2 minute walk to the ***** which has lots of restaurants and bars to choose from! I noticed that the hotel and surrounding areas had lots of German tourists which was only an issue for my little girl as she struggled to make friends as there was no English children there at the time. But all the staff tried their best to include her still which was lovely! Overall I would recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Can Picafort.
