Join the weekly drop-in class "What We Inherit" in Brooklyn, where participants will explore their own legacies inherited from family, society, and the world around them. Delve into the concept of what is considered a gift and what is seen as a burden, and discover how echoes of the past manifest in everyday life. Through engaging group conversations and thought-provoking prompts, attendees will explore various perspectives on this theme. The class will include the reading of captivating poems by renowned poets such as Eugenia Leigh, Sharon Olds, Danez Smith, and Vievee Francis. While sharing your own poems written during the class is encouraged, it is entirely optional. Please note that this drop-in class is not intended for critiquing work; individuals seeking feedback should consider registering for the multi-week workshops.

맨해튼 전망대는 꼭 선셋일때 보세요. 정말 추천합니다. 두번 낮일때 전망대 관람했는데 왜 야경을 추천했는지 알거같아요 아름다워 감탄했습니다 겨울이라 일몰시간이 일러 3시반 입장해서 6시쯤 나왔는데 낮과 어둑어둑해지는 모습 깜깜한 야경까지 모두 볼수있어서 좋았어요

뉴욕 출장 중 한 시간 정도 시간이 있었는데, 호텔 근처에 있고 입장료도 저렴하다는 걸 금방 알아챘어요. &#39;별이 빛나는 밤&#39;과 &#39;아비뇽의 처녀들&#39;의 대표작들을 직접 볼 줄은 정말 몰랐는데, 미리 알아보지도 않아서 반가운 놀라움이었어요. 사람이 붐비지 않는 곳에서 관람하려면 정오 전에 가세요.

뉴욕의 센트럴 파크를 걷는 것은 강철 숲의 부드러운 틈으로 빠지는 것과 같습니다. 아침 햇살이 나무 꼭대기를 뚫고 들어와 벚꽃길에 분홍빛과 흰색의 비단을 펼칩니다. 바람이 불면 꽃잎이 어깨까지 떨어지고, 고층 빌딩의 날카로운 모서리는 꽃의 그림자에 부드러워지며 흐릿한 배경음이 됩니다.

벤치에 적힌 도시 코드가 가장 감동적입니다. 손끝으로 차가운 의자의 등받이를 쓰다듬자 명판에 적힌 짧은 글귀가 뉴요커의 체온을 실어 갔다. &quot;내 아내 캐럴에게, 그녀는 센트럴 파크를 사랑했고, 나는 그녀를 사랑했습니다.&quot; 삶과 죽음의 이별, 어린 시절의 재회, 어머니와 자식 사이의 유대감이 모두 나무결 속에 이슬로 응축되어 있었다. 고등학생들이 양 떼에서 책을 펴고 웃을 때, 셰익스피어의 시가 체리힐에서 호수까지 흘러갈 때, 이 공원은 언어를 초월하는 인간 이야기로 가득 찬 감정적 공명 상자가 됩니다.
