Unleash your creativity by delving into the realm of 3D form and structure at the upcoming workshop led by Jenny Pope, a renowned sculptor based in Edinburgh. With a background in Ceramics and Sculpture from Edinburgh College of Art, Jenny's work centers on sculptures and installations crafted from found and recycled materials, exploring themes of uncertainty, change, and the emotional impact of climate crisis. Through a series of engaging exercises, participants will have the opportunity to experiment with non-precious materials like packaging, cardboard, and clay, as well as everyday objects, under Jenny's expert guidance. This workshop, titled "Unblocking your Creativity, with Jenny Pope," encourages a playful and experimental approach focused on the creative process rather than the final outcome. Participants will draw inspiration from various sculptors, molding and shaping materials to create unique structures while reflecting on the perception of 3D art. Suitable for all skill levels, this workshop will take place at Off The Rails Arthouse in Ladybank on April 27-28, 2024.
