Llandeilo Life DrawingWhere it isJoin us for an evening of life drawing at Llandeilo Civic Hall (17 Crescent Road, Llandeilo, SA19 6HW), from 6 to 8pm. Upon entering the Civic Hall, there will be a door to your right with a 'Llandeilo Life Drawing' sign. We're upstairs. Please note, the session will take place on the upper floor accessible by stairs only. So unfortunately this isn't suitable for those unable to climb stairs. What we'll be doingFor hundreds of years drawing the human form has been the mainstay of an artist's training. Our goal is to make working from a live model more accessible to artists and art students in the Llandeilo area by running high quality not-for-profit life drawing sessions. Over the 2 hours we'll run 5 x 20 minute blocks, with 5 minute breaks for the model.The model will strike a mixture of short gestural poses to warm up, ending in slightly longer 20 minute poses.No tutoring or instruction is provided.This is run by and for artists, so we're open to suggestions from attendees how to improve future sessions too.What you'll needIt's recommended you bring your own materials.Vine charcoal and paper will be available if you forget your supplies.The room has table and chairs. Drawing boards will be available, but no easels. So bring one along if you want to.If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out on Facebook. Spaces are limited by the size of the room. It's first come, first serve. I also hope people will help their neighbour and make room.
