THYT proudly presents the Winter Showcase 2024, an exciting in-person event taking place at the Red Deer Memorial Centre in Red Deer, AB, Canada. This showcase will feature a variety of plays, films, and performances by talented participants aged 9-17. Prepare to be captivated by Pirate Island: Part One, written by Eloheeka Lumeka, and Killer and the Clown, written by Kale Bouzane. In addition to these thrilling productions, we will also be showcasing original plays written and performed by participants from our 9-10 and 11-12 year old age groups. To top it off, we will be screening films created by our brand new Film Program, entirely written, directed, and performed by participants aged 13-17. The Winter Showcase will take place on January 20, 2024, with doors opening at 6:30 PM (1:30 PM for the matinee) and the show starting at 7:00 PM (2:00 PM for the matinee). Don't miss out on this incredible event that wouldn't be possible without the support of The City of Red Deer, Servus Credit Union, and our partnership with Central Alberta Theatre.
