Design students, recent grads and junior designers, this is for you! We’re back with another agency tour, this time with the multi-award winning VML Perth. With client such as the West Australian Ballet, Gage Roads and Anglicare WA, the crew at VML have been a long-stay of the Perth creative scene and is home to many legends You’ll get a behind-the-scenes tour of the studio, hear from the VML team about their work and how they do it, and have the chance to ask questions. There’ll also be time to chat and meet other fellow designers from TDK, whilst sharing a glass of wine and a slice of ‘za. If you’re a new designer looking to network, get inspired, and learn from some of the best in the West, we’d love to see you there! With one year agency experience already under his belt, Corey is keen to share tips on how to kickstart your career in the design industry. When he's not designing, you’ll find him hiking in the bush or exploring the coast. Garreth Bennett is a graphic designer at Wildlings, working in adland fuelled only by dino nugs. Originally from down south, he relocated to the Big Smoke to study Advertising and Graphic Design at Curtin and graduating in 2021. He is keen to share his experience and connect you with fellow creatives. === About the Design Kids: The Design Kids (TDK) is a global organisation with a mission to bridge the gap between education and industry, providing mentoring, internships and job opportunities as well as offering monthly meetups for designers and creatives.
