Join us for an evening of community and creativity Symbol Stories is Ellen Rock Studio’s own space to invite our community to create, print and connect with one another. Guided by Ellen Rock and her studio team; this 2 hour workshop will invite you to create your own print block in a symbol of your own exploration using guided exercises. The workshop will guide you through meditative mark-making, teach you how to design your own print motif and screen-print a final result!  Open to all abilities, you will be guided to explore print and colour in a circular and friendly sanctuary within the E20 Lab. Building global community at the heart of Ellen Rock Studio we invite you to relax and take rest or join us in conversation on social design as we create in a circular process. Ellen uses her painterly prints to create a language of symbolism, opening universal dialogue and using her work as an enabler for positive global change. A designer rooted in community and responsibility - she is an advocate for handcrafted processes. Ellen's international work combines digital and hand rendered graphics with traditional artisanship techniques and has developed projects with communities in Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Guatemala and Nepal to date. Her print and textile projects include working with a range of collaborators in fashion, interiors, and installation.
