Experience the transformative practice of Sufi Whirling at the Sufi Whirling Space with Anna and Aziz in San Francisco. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the embodied experience of Sufi whirling. Through movement exercises, Sufi chanting, and discussions on Sufism, participants will delve into the mystical poetry and teachings that underpin this spiritual practice.

Led by Dervish Aziz and Anna Whirling, this physical practice utilizes body movements and chanting to open the heart and experience the Unity of Love within the human body. Whether you are a beginner or have previous experience, this workshop welcomes individuals of all levels. All you need is an open heart, comfortable clothing for movement, and socks.

Aziz Abbatiello, who was raised in an American Mevlevi family, has been initiated as a Semazen and has participated in Sema with various Sufi groups in America and abroad. Anna Whirling, originally from Ukraine, has been practicing whirling since childhood and has performed on stage with different groups for over 20 years.

The Sufi Whirling Space with Anna and Aziz is an opportunity to taste the ecstatic experience of Sufi whirling. Join this workshop and embark on a journey of self-discovery and spiritual awakening.
