“Stand For the Land”- Rally AND Public Land Protection Dinner & Discussion

We are excited to have a world-class set of guest speakers including:

Where
: Decker Room, 675 Clinton Street, Ridgway, Colorado
Times
: 4:30-530 pm Honk & Wave by Hartwell Park; If you come to the rally, please bring positive signs on what you stand for, along the lines of "Stand for Clean Water" or "Stand with the Forest Service" or "Stand for Indigenous Rights"
We will then move to the Decker Room @ 545pm for a Potluck dinner; Please bring a dish to share. 
Speakers will begin @ ~630 pm to 8pm

 - Co-Chair for the Bears Ears Intertribal Coalition and instrumental in the formation of Bears Ears National Monument
Matt Wade
 - Executive Director of American Mountain Guides Association, and a driving force behind the recently-passed the exciting 
EXPLORE Act
 that now is in danger.
Robyn Cascade
 - Member of the National Board for Great Old Broads for Wilderness, protecting and expanding official Wilderness locations both in the San Juans, and across the country.
Dolgio Nergui 
- Chair of the Ouray Climbers Alliance, talking about the importance of recreation and conservation across Colorado.
After our potluck dinner starting at 6pm, we will begin with our first speaker at about 6:30. After our four speakers, we will have the floor open for anyone to talk, from their personal experience, on what public lands mean to them and why they should be protected.
