Join Emma-Jayne Holmes for the Sketching in the Landscape Workshop Series at Barkby Beach, (Meliden), Prestatyn. This workshop is part of a series of short, sketching workshops designed to enhance your creativity and connect you with the natural world. Suitable for ages 11-18, these workshops will take you on a journey through the beautiful landscape of North Wales. Each season, Emma will guide you through forests, waterfalls, valleys, and beaches, providing inspiration for a series of sketches and drawings. You will have the opportunity to explore still life in nature and develop your own unique sketching style using a range of materials. Whether you want to enhance your craft, learn how to sketch, or try something new, these workshops are open to all. Parents are welcome to stay for the duration of the workshop if preferred. Please come prepared for sketching outdoors with suitable clothing, including waterproofs, a small rucksack, hat, gloves, and sturdy footwear. Snacks and drinks are also recommended. Emma will provide all the necessary drawing materials, but feel free to bring anything you would like to use or seek advice on.
