Join us for a leisurely 8 mile bike ride for women from Wollaton Park along quiet roads, towpaths and cycleways to Strelley Hall where we will stop for hot drinks and a cake (our treat) at the Mulberry Cafe. Don't let January get you down, let's meet, cycle together, and enjoy some cake and company to welcome in 2025. We welcome women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, we ride at the pace of the slowest rider, stop for breaks whenever you want and promise you will never be alone at the back!  MEETING POINT: Wollaton Hall Park, meet outside the Wollaton 508 Cafe which is next to the children's play area near the Wollaton Road entrance. Click here for a Google pin. Before and during the ride we will be sharing all the tips and tricks to get the most out of cycling. This ride is organised by Women in Tandem, a Community Interest Company based in Nottingham that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes. The session is funded by The National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund. You won’t need anything fancy, just a bike that rides, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing, water, snacks and some enthusiasm for cycling!
