Join Mollie Paling of FLUX Jewellery for an exclusive ring-making workshop at Beak Brewery in Lewes. In this 2.5 hour session, participants will learn the ancient art of lost wax carving to create their very own bespoke ring. The workshop takes place in the hidden brewery, located under the stunning Sussex cliffs.

Under the guidance of Mollie Paling, attendees will be introduced to a range of techniques and processes used in jewellery making. Using jeweller's wax and various tools, participants will have the opportunity to explore mark making, shape formation, and surface texture. The workshop begins with a test piece to familiarize participants with the materials and methods.

Once comfortable, attendees will design and carve their own unique ring, drawing inspiration from their own ideas and personal taste. The possibilities are endless, allowing participants to create a ring that can be as dramatic or as simple as desired. 

After the workshop, the rings will be sent for casting in 100% recycled silver. If desired, gold casting is also available at an additional cost. The rings will then be polished in our workshop and returned within 3 weeks via collection or postal delivery.

This workshop is open to all levels and abilities, and participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The ticket price of £95 includes the 2.5 hour workshop, a finished silver ring, and a schooner of delicious Beak Beer (or a soft drink if preferred).
