PUBLIC SPEAKING THROUGH COMEDY COURSE Purpose of the workshop is to overcome the fear of public speaking through stand up comedy. We will use humor as the primary tool in order to become persuasive speakers, improve stage presence, and develop self-confidence. You will learn: 22 Stage Presence Tips & TechniquesUnlocking Your Funny & Breaking The IceEffective Speech Structuring Self Awareness & Body LanguageConfidence & Controlling NervesEmbracing Your Accent (if any) Investment: $650 incl. HST Tax Length: 7 weeks including Grad Show (8 sessions*) *Includes 1 one-on-one private session with customized feedback. You will also receive constructive, private feedback throughout the entire course. Start: Wednesday, January 22, 2025 Time: Wednesdays | 6:30pm to 9:30pm (Toronto - EST Time) Place: TBD Class Size: Max 12 students, to ensure personalized attention. Grad Show: On the 7th week there will be a Grad Night where each student will perform a 5 minute set before an audience of friends and family. Refund Policy: Please note this course is non-refundable. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs) I don't want to do the Grad Show. Do I have to? A: We can't force you :) However, the entire syllabus builds on concepts that you will put into practice on Grad Night. Our advice is join the workshop and you can decide later.
