Led by the talented poet Karla Lamb, this bi-weekly crash course is designed to fully immerse participants in the art of poetry. As a queer Chicana poet born in Mexico City and holding a Masters in Poetry from Carlow University, Lamb brings a wealth of experience to these workshops.

Throughout the sessions, poets will have the opportunity to generate new work and engage in constructive discussions in a safe and inclusive environment. Participants will delve into poetic devices, refine public reading skills, and explore the intricacies of literary rhetoric. Additionally, they will gain insights into the publishing and marketing aspects of the poetry world.

Under Lamb's guidance, poets will embrace literary experimentation and push the boundaries of expression and language. Crafting carefully, revising intensively, and reflecting deeply, they will strengthen their poetic muscles. The workshops will also include free writing exercises and analysis of work by published poets.

These in-person sessions will take place in a beautiful and creative studio in Los Angeles.
