Welcome to the Physical Theatre Workshop "Physicality in Acting", taking place in Berlin from January 8th to 12th, 2024. This exciting workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore the connection between your body, voice, emotions, and character. Led by Sergei Ostrenko, a highly experienced Director, Choreographer, and Performance Teacher, this workshop guarantees to enhance your skills as a performer, director, or choreographer.

With over 30 years of experience, Sergei has worked with performers from all over the world, bringing international projects to the professional stage and education. Throughout the five days of training, Sergei will delve into the concepts of physical action, the performer's body, and inner action, drawing from influential techniques such as Meyerhold's Biomechanics, M. Chekhov's Psychological Gesture, and Stanislavsky's Physical Action.

This workshop is focused on practical exercises, providing you with new insights, interesting tasks, and challenges. The program includes five full days of classes from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM, giving you ample opportunity to immerse yourself in the training. Upon completion of the program, you will receive an international certificate from NIPAI, the National Institute of Performing Arts International.
