MOVE, PLAY, DANCE! A workshop dedicated to the joy of movement is a special event that aims to bring the community together through movement and creativity. Hosted at MOAH:CEDAR in Lancaster, CA, this workshop offers participants a two-hour experience filled with calisthenics, aerobics, stretching, and various dance and movement practices. The event caters to individuals of all backgrounds and skill levels, encouraging modifications, breaks, and a mindful approach to their bodies' needs for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. 

Dance, as an art form, offers numerous benefits beyond physical fitness, such as stress reduction, improved cognitive function, and even reducing brain atrophy in older dancers. Led by a team of experienced facilitators, including Rachel Pace, a Physical Therapist Assistant, Rochelle Guardado, a dancer and choreographer with an M.F.A. in dance, and Katherine Grace Murphy, a seasoned dancer and teacher, participants can expect a safe and judgment-free environment to explore and learn varied dance techniques.

The workshop's goals are to help individuals discover the joy of movement, connect with their bodies, learn new ways of moving, and have fun in a communal setting. By encouraging participants to include more movement in their everyday lives, MOVE, PLAY, DANCE! strives to create a lasting impact.
