Discover the world of marker illustration and learn essential rendering techniques in this accessible workshop. No prior experience is necessary, making it perfect for participants aged 50 and above. All the materials you need will be provided, so sign up now and embark on your marker illustration journey!

Led by Lau Sheow Tong, an accomplished art practitioner and educator, this programme promises an enriching experience. Lau holds a Master of Fine Arts from LASALLE College of the Arts, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education, and a Bachelor of Arts from the National University of Singapore.

This programme is organized by artseen, an NLB initiative that aims to create vibrant arts literacy spaces in libraries. Through artseen, artists and the community can connect and engage in authentic art experiences. Stay updated on future arts events and activities by writing to arts@nlb.gov.sg.

잊지 못할 유니버설 스튜디오 싱가포르에서의 하루
어제 유니버설 스튜디오 싱가포르에 가서 정말 멋진 시간을 보냈습니다. 트랜스포머는 정말 스릴 넘쳤고, 공원의 하이라이트였습니다. 슈렉은 재미있고 유쾌해서 가볍고 몰입감 있는 경험을 선사했습니다.
화려한 불꽃놀이로 완벽한 하루를 마무리했는데, 정말 마법 같았고 마지막까지 남아있길 잘했습니다. 잘 조직된 활기찬 분위기와 다양한 놀이기구와 쇼가 어우러진 환상적인 곳이었습니다. 싱가포르에 가면 꼭 가봐야 할 명소입니다!

입장료가 아깝지 않은 곳이에요. 트레일을 걷는 동안 조금 어두워서 야간 시력이 좋지 않은 분들은 손전등을 가져오시는 게 좋을 것 같아요. 원형극장 쇼는 그저 그랬지만, 야행성 동물들을 접할 수 있는 좋은 기회였어요. 하이라이트는 기차 탑승이었는데, 신기하게도 거의 모든 동물들이 활발하게 움직이고 있었고 기차에서 볼 수 있는 거리였어요. 음식 가격은 괜찮은 편인데, 외부보다는 약간 비싸요. 직원들은 친절하고 도움이 많이 됐어요. 밤에 건전한 활동을 찾는 분들께 추천합니다.
