Learn to Ride Kids Easter Sessions are perfect for beginners or those new to cycling, aimed at Primary School age children seeking to boost confidence and have a great time. These sessions cater to kids unfamiliar with riding a bike or just starting out with pedalling. Qualified cycling coaches will oversee the sessions, offering a safe and supportive environment for children to enhance their cycling skills. Participants will engage in warm-up activities and enjoyable games, all within a secure, traffic-free area. Sessions are scheduled for Tuesday 2nd, Wednesday 3rd, Tuesday 9th, and Wednesday 10th April 2024, with time slots from 10-11.30am for P1-3 and 12-1.30pm for P4-7. Individuals can register for one or multiple sessions, ensuring to cancel if unable to attend. Bring along a water bottle, snack, bike, and helmet. For those without access to a bike, prior notice can be given to make arrangements. This initiative is funded by Smarter Choices Smarter Places, part of Paths for All’s program supported by Transport Scotland, promoting active and sustainable travel across Scotland.
