Description: 
Are you looking to gain valuable lifeguarding experience? The Junior Lifeguard program offers you the opportunity to shadow and assist lifeguards at Silver Lake throughout the summer. Under the direct supervision of an NLS-certified lifeguard, you will:
· Assist with patron communication and swim lessons
· Help monitor beach safety
· Support daily lifeguard responsibilities
· Participate in in-service guard training
Schedule: 
The schedule is subject to change depending on lifeguard availability throughout the summer. Currently, the program is planned to run two days per week with morning and evening sessions.
Requirements:
· Have started the lifeguard training process (Bronze Medallion or Bronze Cross)
· Be an eager, responsible and reliable individual
· Be a strong swimmer
· Work well in a team setting
