Discover the art of ballet at the "Intro to Ballet Workshop for Adults" led by experienced dancer and teacher Ellie Goudie-Averill. This weekend workshop is specifically designed for absolute beginners and will take place on October 21 and December 2 from 9:00-10:15am at the Sun Studio, located in the Arts and Industry Building, Suite 245, at 221 Pine St, Florence, MA 01062.

During this immersive workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of ballet, explore the intricacies of the body, and ask any questions you may have. Ellie Goudie-Averill, a renowned dance artist and educator, brings her expertise and passion to guide you through this enriching experience. With a background in working with dancers of all ages, Goudie-Averill has collaborated with Tori Lawrence + Co. for a decade, specializing in dance films and site-specific performances. She is currently teaching at Amherst, Smith, and Keene State Colleges, and is excited to choreograph a new dance piece with students at Mount Holyoke during Fall 2023.
