About the Facilitator
Matt, owner of 
Three Rabbit Farms (@threerabbitfarms)
, has been passionate about growing food for over a decade. His expertise is rooted in low-till, organic food production in the Lower Mainland. What started as a way to feed his 3 Flemish Giant rabbits evolved into his own farm business, 
where he focuses on sustainable farming practices and growing fresh, organic produce.
Throughout his career, Matt has worked for notable organizations such as 
The Earthwise Society
, 
West Coast Seeds
, and 
Kwantlen Polytechnic University
. After completing the 
KPU Farm School Training Certificate Program
, he transitioned into his current role as the 
KPU Farm Incubator Program Coordinator
. In this role, Matt supports new farmers as they transition from education to the real-world challenges of managing their own farming operations. 
He’s excited to share his extensive knowledge and experience with workshop participants, helping them grow their own food and start their gardening journey with confidence!
