The Glasgow Improv Theatre's Improv 101 Our 8 week beginners improv comedy course in Glasgow, no experience necessary! This 8 week class will teach you the fundamentals of long-form improvisation. You will learn about basic scenework, agreement, listening, and playing grounded characters This course is ideal for beginners and no previous performing experience is necessary, and it's a really fun place to start! 8 Week Course (+ Graduation Show) Wednesdays 6.30pm - 9.30pm (8 classes total) Start date: Wednesday 8th January 2025 (Every Wednesday until…) End date: Wednesday 26th February 2025 Class Venue: Tron Theatre (63 Trongate, Glasgow, G1 5HB) Graduation show: Tuesday 4th March (Venue: Old Hairdressers, Glasgow) Pricing: £160 Full Price (+ Eventbrite fees) £120 Concession (+ Eventbrite fees) 2 Scholarship spaces available The scholarships are two spots offered free of charge for people who would otherwise not be able to afford classes. Scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no application process and you won’t be asked questions about your circumstances or background when requesting one of the scholarship places. Our hope with the scholarship is that we can encourage diversity and remove barriers of entry to learning improv. Taught by: Jeff Khan Jeff Khan has a decade of improv experience. He trained at the Free Association in London, as well as with improvisers from the Upright Citizens Brigade. Jeff is a founding member of the Glasgow Improv Theatre's long-running house team, Couch. He was also a member of the Free Association's house team Minority Report. He regularly performs at the Edinburgh Fringe and comedy festivals. 우리는 두 번이나 돌아다녔고(방문 사이에 교대 근무를 했습니다!) 글래스고에서 의심할 여지 없이 수천 개의 이와 비슷한 이야기를 한 가지 통찰력으로 엿볼 수 있어서 환상적이었습니다. 게다가 우리 아들은 자신의 월리 굴에 색칠하는 것을 철저히 즐겼습니다. 가넷힐을 돌아다닐 만한 숨은 보석입니다.

조지 광장은 꼭 봐야 할 명소입니다. 광장의 건축물을 감상하는 것 외에도 크리스마스와 같은 다양한 축제 기간에는 광장이 크리스마스 시장으로 바뀌어 역동적이고 행복한 분위기로 변합니다.
