Experience the Canadian premiere of Faye Driscoll's groundbreaking performance, Weathering, at The Blackwood in Toronto. Created as a moving human sculpture, Weathering combines bodies, sounds, scents, liquids, and objects to create a multi-sensory experience. Ten performers continuously transform and interact on a mobile stage, immersing the audience in their intense journey of crisis and alienation. As the performers navigate their small platform, the audience can feel the emotions, smell the sweat, and witness the scenes unfolding before them.

Weathering delves into the impact of the Anthropocene, exploring the effects of environmental destruction on individual bodies and their interdependencies. Through conflict, eroticism, and care, Driscoll and her collaborators raise thought-provoking questions about our connection to the world around us. This performance demands undivided attention, providing a much-needed escape from media saturation. By engaging all the senses, Weathering urges viewers to attune themselves to the ways in which we inhabit the Earth.
