Experience the wonderful combination of sketching and screenprinting with the talented Anna Marrow at the "Drawn to print - a sketch and screenprint workshop" in Bristol. Taking place on February 16th, this five-hour session from 10am to 3pm offers an immersive and creative experience for art enthusiasts. This workshop will be held at the dedicated screenprint studio at Centrespace, located in the heart of Bristol's Old City.

Start the day by honing your observational skills with two hours of drawing from a variety of still life and botanical objects. From warm-up exercises to more focused drawings, you'll explore different mark making equipment to bring your sketches to life. After a lunch break, the afternoon session will delve into the world of screen printing. Learn low-tech methods such as paper stencils and mono-printing, as well as the innovative technique of drawing with water-soluble pencils directly onto the screen.

With transparent inks, you'll be able to overlay colors onto your drawings, creating stunning effects. As a final result, you'll have the option to create simple books or posters. No previous screen printing experience is required, as Anna Marrow will provide expert tuition. All materials will be provided, so simply come dressed in comfortable, old clothes and bring a growth mindset!
