Join PINK on Friday, January 26th, from 6:30pm to 9pm, for DRAG & DRAW: an extraordinary evening combining drawing and performance art. Underbank Studios, located in the heart of Stockport, will be hosting the highly anticipated third edition of the Drag and Draw series. Immerse yourself in an evening filled with captivating performances by three talented drag artists, complemented by three well-deserved refreshment breaks. Drawing materials, including pencils, oil pastels, and paper, will be provided free of charge, encouraging you to explore your creativity. Whether you choose to draw from life or let your imagination run wild, the goal is to capture movement on paper, infusing your artwork with energy and vibrancy. Additionally, there will be brief 5-minute poses, allowing you to study stillness in contrast to the dynamic performances. This event aims to inspire you to embrace a more relaxed and expressive approach to art, utilizing personality, movement, and color. To enhance your experience, a fully stocked bar will be available, offering a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. All proceeds from the bar will directly contribute to the maintenance and continuation of PINK's space and creative exhibitions and events.
