Have you thought about trying dinghy sailing or getting back into it? Do you love the water? If you are wondering what dinghy sailing is like or you are interested in our club, then this is your chance. Come and enjoy our scenic, protected lake. Get out on the water for a taste of sailing in a dinghy. Littleton Sailing Club welcomes adults and families to book a taster sail. You will set sail in one of our multi-person training boats, with an experienced club sailor at the helm. Your experienced helm will show you the ropes and even let you take the helm if the weather is suitable. Parents and their children will be paired together in a boat for a family taster sail to help you start a new family activity.  For family taster sails, a parent/guardian is required to sail with each child to help you start a new family activity. One ticket is required per person including children. The club’s Wednesday evening taster series has three events: 21 May, 4 June, and 25 June with two taster sail slots per evening, the first starting at 18:00 and the second at 19:00. In order to make room for everyone who is interested in trying sailing and experiencing Littleton, taster slots are limited to one taster sail per person per season. If you decide you'd like to learn to sail, then talk to us about membership options and the RYA courses that we run at the club. You are welcome to enjoy a tasty bite from the galley (did someone say burgers? chicken caesar salad and cake?), beers and prosecco from the bar, and soak up the friendly club atmosphere. You are also welcome to bring your own board and stand up paddleboard/windsurf on our scenic lake and enjoy the wildlife. Please arrive promptly for your scheduled slot and bring your ticket confirmation with you – either on your mobile device or printed. Late arrivals cannot be guaranteed to go afloat.
