Immerse yourself in the YZD community spirit with a variety of rotating classes and activities designed for all ages. Every month, we partner with a different local organization to bring fresh, exciting experiences for all ages.
July: Code, Create, Play
This July, YZD partners with Just BGraphic for a three-week Community Sundays series focused on the exciting world of video game design.
Participants will dive into the full creative process—from concept to playable prototype—while learning coding basics, design thinking, and storytelling techniques.
Note:
 This is a progressive three-week program and participants must commit to attending all three sessions.
Programming Schedule:
July 6 – Game Design Foundations
: Learn the basics of game development, including concepting, storyboarding, and introductory coding.
July 13 – Mechanics & Storytelling:
 Add interactive elements, refine your storyline, and build game functionality with hands-on guidance.
July 20 – Final Showcase: 
Complete your game, apply finishing touches, and present your creation to peers and community.

Program Details
Location: YZD Experience Centre, 34 Hanover Road
Cost: Free
Schedule: 12:00 to 3:00 PM
Age: Designed for children ages 13+. Please register only the participating child. Adults attending as caregivers do not require tickets.
