Join the boxing fitness class for adults in Islington, London, and take a step towards fighting Type 2 Diabetes. Under the guidance of experienced coaches, participants will gain boxing skills and work on their fitness, endurance, and core strength. Through self-assessment and peer reviews, participants will be able to monitor their progress and set new targets during the latter weeks of the programme. At the end of the programme, participants will be provided with information on further opportunities to sustain active lifestyles, such as local gyms and boxing clubs.

The anticipated outcomes of the programme include improvements in fitness levels, mental health and wellbeing, and blood glucose control for those with and at risk of Type 2 diabetes. Participants will also have the chance to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) to identify any health issues and set individual goals for the programme.
