Silent Voices continues the poignant journey of Donna Hayes, whose grief over her grandson Quanice’s death at the hands of Portland police inspires this powerful production. Through haunting first-person storytelling, it reveals the intricate lives lost to institutionalized violence, expanding its focus to include victims of capital punishment, war, and genocide.  By illuminating these diverse experiences, it seeks to restore the humanity of all involved, fostering empathy and understanding in a world quick to judge. Ultimately, Beyond Silent Voices (Silent Voices II) is a heartfelt call for reconciliation and compassion amidst profound loss. We are gathering for this special invite only screening and kick off event to network and bring each of our time, treasures, and talents together so that this monologue continues to evolve across our collective to bring voice to the voiceless across the globe.
