What is it?This is an 'archery taster session', for people who want to give archery a try. It will be run by the senior coaching team from County of Worcester Archery Association. There are two 2-hour sessions, starting at 13:00 & 15:00. Please make sure you book the appropriate ticket! The cost is £25 per person - once booked invoices will be raised by our County Treasurer. EligibilityThe event is open to all people aged 11 and over. If you have any disability or accessibility needs please contact us to discuss before the event. DetailsAll the archery equipment required will be provided, so please do not bring your own.Please be prepared to tie back long hair, as it could get caught in the bowstring.Please be aware that facial piercings could get caught in the bowstring - if you have such please take adequate steps to mitigate this risk.Baggy clothing on the upper half is best avoided & open-toed shoes are forbidden.HousekeepingWe can offer tea, coffee & biscuits.The venue is equipped with toilets, and all required areas are accessible.The staff will be able to discuss with you your options should you wist to take up archery full time.The session may include trainee coaches who are practicing under supervision.There is suitable parking at the venue.
