 for this full-day conference exploring the intersection of Africa’s technology revolution and its rapidly growing youth population. As digital innovation accelerates across the continent, this event will examine its impact on economic opportunity, civic and social engagement, healthcare delivery, and international partnerships for transformative change.
Organized by students of the Elliott School in collaboration with the Institute for African Studies, the Onero Institute, GW Young Black Professionals in International Affairs, the GW African Students Association, and the Howard University Alexander Hamilton Society, the conference will spotlight the urgent need to equip Africa’s youth with the skills, tools, and platforms to thrive in the digital age.

국회의사당을 방문하려면 미리 예약을 하고 티켓을 구매해야 합니다. 요구 사항에 따라 정해진 시간에 도착해야 합니다. 사람이 많으니 일정에 차질이 없도록 미리 도착하시기 바랍니다. 중국 투어는 사전에 예약할 수 있습니다. 중국 투어이긴 하지만, 외국인 투어 가이드는 영어로 말하고, 통역기를 사용해서 중국어로 번역한 후 우리에게 재생해주는데, 매우 흥미로웠습니다. 국회의사당의 내부도 건물 자체의 관점에서 볼 때 아름답습니다. 방문 시 반드시 설명을 따라야 합니다.

내셔널 몰

내셔널 몰은 워싱턴을 방문하는 관광객이 꼭 방문해야 할 곳입니다. 한쪽 끝에는 링컨 기념관이 있고, 다른 쪽 끝에는 워싱턴 기념탑이 있으며, 가운데에는 물웅덩이가 있고 양쪽에는 녹지 공간이 있습니다. 주변에는 제2차 세계대전 승전 기념관, 베트남 전쟁 기념관, 제퍼슨 기념관 등 여러 기념관이 있습니다. 매년 열리는 워싱턴 벚꽃 축제의 아름다운 벚꽃도 이곳에서 만발합니다. 우리는 4월 말에 워싱턴에 도착했습니다. 안타깝게도 벚꽃은 이미 시들어서 흔적도 남아 있지 않았습니다. 꽃이 만발했을 때의 풍경이 얼마나 아름다웠을지 상상할 수 있었습니다.

2017년 9월 22일에 왔습니다.

9/11 이후 백악관이 대중에게 공개되지 않았다고 들었는데, 우리가 거기에 갔을 때 우리는 울타리 밖에서만 볼 수 있었기 때문에 백악관은 &quot;여기 방문&quot; 관광객이 되었습니다. 체크인 사진.

백악관 남쪽에는 큰 소나무가 있는데 의외로 &#39;랜드마크&#39;이자 &#39;국가 크리스마스 트리&#39;이기도 하다... 뭐, 크리스마스 때 꼭 가봐야 할 것 같다.

링컨 기념관

링컨 기념관은 미국 역사의 상징이자 깊은 의미가 있는 장소입니다. 우뚝 솟은 에이브러햄 링컨 동상이 특징인 웅장한 건축물은 존경과 찬사를 받습니다. 워싱턴 기념탑과 국회의사당을 배경으로 한 Reflecting Pool의 엄숙함은 숨 막힐 듯한 전망을 만들어냅니다. 방문객은 자유, 평등, 통합의 정신에 푹 빠져서 꼭 방문해야 할 곳입니다. 미국의 가장 위대한 지도자 중 한 명과 모든 사람을 위한 자유와 정의에 대한 그의 지속적인 메시지를 기념하는 이 기념관의 역할은 진정으로 고무적입니다.
