The town is beautiful. The hotel is lovely. I walked in so excited to be there. The staff was checking people out so I waited. When it was my turn I asked to just store my luggage as it was too early for check in. She snapped at me that I shouldn’t have come during check in and if I wanted to see the town that day I should have booked the previous night. I was so sad. I ended up taking my luggage and getting lunch next store (it was 10:40, not like it was 7am.) I took the bus from Linz so I didn’t get to choose my arrival. Also there were silver fish bugs in the bathroom as other reviews have noted. Finally the card with the keys says breakfast is 6:30. I waited until 6:30 and was again snapped at that it’s 7. Then 10 minutes later they let other guests in. Room and view were lovely as were some staff, but I’ve honestly never felt so unwelcome and couldn’t wait to leave.

My wife and I loved our stay at the Bellevue Hotel in Cesky Krumlov. The staff was very friendly and all that we interacted with spoke English. The room was small and cozy but it was clean and had everything we needed… a comfortable king bed (two twins pushed together) a clean private bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Nightstands and a small desk. The breakfast buffet had a surprisingly wide variety of options, neither of us had any trouble finding plenty of tasty options to satisfy our individual preferences. The location is also great. It’s not to far from the beginning of the cobble stone entrance into the historic part of town and is easily walkable to lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and the main attractions of Cesky Krumlov Castle and the Vltava River. We are so glad that we stopped here on our trip through Europe and are sad that we only had one day to enjoy it!

All My wife and I stayed here for three nights in mid-September, ‘22. We enjoyed it very much and recommend it highly. It is a classic old hotel set right on the river, just across from the picturesque castle. One of the town bridges is just in front of the hotel, and the street leads to the castle in one direction and to the main part of the old town in the other. We found the location to be very convenient. A short distance away is another bridge with a walkway that leads to one of the town parking areas. It would be possible to reach the hotel with a small amount of luggage, but we opted to park and walk to the hotel before obtaining a town pass to drive to the front of the hotel with our luggage. If you then choose one of the hotel’s private parking options, which we did, someone from the hotel will guide you in another vehicle to your parking area and bring you back to the hotel. Be aware that even with a town pass you can’t drive in town from 10 am to 3 pm, which can complicate departure as well as arrival. We arranged for a taxi to pick us up with our luggage and take us to our car when we checked out to get around this. Our room (401) was on the corner of the top floor and likely an upgrade from our castle-view room. It was a very large suite with a bedroom area, a sitting area, a separate room with closet and storage area, and a huge tiled-bathroom with an enclosed alcove for the toilet. We had terrific views of the town, the river, and the castle from every room. The sleeping area had a comfortable king bed, a desk, sofa, tv cabinet, small round table with two chairs, nicely decorated a classical style. There was a single cup coffee maker that was very good. The closet wqs large, but had only and few hangers and the safe wasn’t operable. The bathroom had a pedestal sink with adequate counter space, and a shower/tub combo. Our only complaint about the room was that there were no heat controls and it was unseasonably chilly during our visit. Breakfast was a very good buffet with lots of fruit, cereals, baked goods, eggs, breakfast meats, etc. All in all, we highly recommend the Dvorak for comfort, location, and character.

Wonderful experience at the Castle View Apartments! We had probably the best unit in the complex, which is on the ground floor (no steps other than two steps up to the bathroom), nice living room, kitchenette area, bedroom and great balcony with outstanding view of the castle. Not all rooms have the view, but this is clearly stated on their website. Our unit was spotless, quiet and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the towels were good and fluffy. We learned that the property has a new owner since the pandemic and they have all new mattresses and furnishings. There is a grocery store around the corner which should supply all your needs. We were looking for breakfast however, so they recommended a great restaurant around the corner on the square, the Authentic Cafe, which is a lovely space and offers an excellent full breakfast cooked to order from a menu. While not inexpensive, it was high quality and we really enjoyed it. We were cold the first day we arrived as the town had not turned on the heat for fall yet, but with the urging of Daniel with the property, they got it turned on so we were then comfortable. Nice that they have a heated towel rack in the bathroom. They let me know that they offer a private transfer service in a luxury SUV from Prague and on to Vienna which we took advantage of. The cost was about the same as CK Shuttles. Daniel with the hotel provided the transfers. He is friendly and kind and we enjoyed getting to know him on the beautiful drives. He'll make stops along the way as needed. He took wonderful care of us on the drives and during our stay going above and beyond the call of duty. He is a gem! Highly recommend!

Sehr gute Lage, direkt an der Moldau und man ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten im historischen Zentrum und beim Schloss. Es ist ruhiger als direkt im Zentrum, abends wird aber trotzdem direkt bei der Unterkunft gefeiert, bei offenem Fenster schlafen war für uns nicht möglich. Das Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet, es gibt viel Stauraum. Parkplätze sind vorhanden, die Zufahrt ist allerdings sehr eng. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist in Ordnung, aber nichts besseres. Man hat allerdings einen schönen Blick zur Moldau und Mantelbrücke. Es gibt eine kleine Spielecke im Frühstücksraum.
