Wuhan Museum is located at 373 Youth Road, Hankou District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, 300 meters west of Hankou Railway Station. It was officially opened to the outside world on October 1, 2001. The total building area is 17834 square meters, the display area is 6000 square meters, and the warehouse area is 4000 square meters. Wuhan Museum is a modern comprehensive museum which integrates the functions of cultural relics collection, academic research, publicity and education, cultural exchange and leisure and entertainment.
The Museum has several exhibition halls, including ancient and modern history of Wuhan, as well as thematic exhibitions. At present, there are exhibitions of ancient calligraphy and painting in Shenyang Palace Museum. The ancient and modern history of Wuhan should not be looked at carefully. The exhibits are rich and colorful, and the combination of articles and pictures is not bad.
It's a good choice to bring children to experience the history and culture of Wuhan.
The treasures of Wuhan Museum and Town Museum: Goujian sword is super-exquisite, Zeng Houyi bell is super-atmospheric, two national treasures, too praised. Although there is a gap between the original Goujian sword and the shop imitation, the simulation is relatively high, and the imitation of the bell of Zeng Houyi is also very exquisite. Feel the spiritual essence conveyed by art itself... It's worth looking forward to!!
Compared with the Museum of Bo and Xinhai in Hubei Province, which are both located in the urban area of Wuhan, the Museum of Bo in Wuhan seems somewhat silent and nameless. In fact, Wuhan Municipal Bo is quite good. The Pavilion is very large and the exhibits are quite rich. Free tickets are unavoidable. Tickets are collected by ID card at the gate. Close to Hankou Railway Station, it is convenient to take a bus. It is suggested to prepare 2 yuan change. Municipal Fairs often hold some youth activities, which are quite lively. Museum management is still very strict, even small parcels must be deposited in the museum's automatic charter machine. I still remember the last time I visited the Expo, there happened to be a small speech contest. The children who participated in the contest were very lovely.
