After coming out of Jinci Temple, I came here. At that time, it was quite crooked. We took a bus to the top of the mountain and then went down directly from the top. Here's a reminder to all of you who are ready to go. If you come here to take a black car, you must say yes to the driver, send you to the top of the mountain, and then wait for you downhill. This is the best way. The price may be 20 yuan more expensive than waiting for you, but you can save a lot of things. The grottoes are on the hills and the temples are under the hills. If you want to see them, you need to go back and forth once. To avoid turning around, tell the driver to go up the hill and wait down the hill. After you get down from the mountain, you can go by car after you have seen it. This side of the mountain road is very steep, sitting in the co-driver, feeling cool!!!! Then we talk about the attractions themselves. Now the grottoes are being repaired urgently, because of the serious weathering and damage, some Grottoes have been closed. Seeing the Buddha in the grottoes, we can feel the sculpture style of the stone statues in those days, and think of the prosperous scenery in those days. It is more and more regrettable to be destroyed by the invaders. If it can be completely preserved, what will be the grand occasion!!! The mountain environment is very good, the temperature is lower than outside, more clothes.
April 20, 2015, there is no ticket money, to go up and down the mountain to do the local car, rely on the mountain to eat! This scenic spot, which was hit by mistake, originally came in the Jinci Temple. When getting off the bus, the local villagers asked whether to go there or not. As a result, the truth came! I love it! This place has a long history. It was originally the summer resort of Emperor Shenwu of the Northern Qi Dynasty. The scenery is really pleasant and cool. When I went to the site of the three great Buddhas, I closed the door and could only look through the crack of the door. Nobody knew about it. A dead monk sold his way up to the mountain to Japan, so that everything on the mountain had no skin at all! ___________ How hateful! There is a white Dragon Cave in the mountain. It is said that it was originally a white dragon and a black dragon. As a result, there are no two tigers in a mountain. The two dragons are fighting! White Dragon wins, Black Dragon changes ground!
If it's a visitor from other places, you can consider visiting it. I didn't have a ticket when I went there! ________ But there are a lot of cows fooling around! Because the grottoes are being repaired, we can't see them! Half a day is enough, that is, it's a little far from Taiyuan downtown. It's only at the eighteenth bend of the mountain road. It's an hour's drive!
Grottoes coexist with more than 1500 grotto statues, including 1144 reliefs, algae wells and portraits. The overall damage is still relatively serious. Many Buddha statues in the caves on the mountain have no Buddha heads. They are said to have been stolen by the Japanese.
Grottoes are located on the cliff waist of the two western peaks of Tianlong Mountain. There are 24 caves excavated in the Eastern Wei Dynasty, the Northern Qi Dynasty, the Sui Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty, eight caves in Dongfeng, thirteen caves in Xifeng and three caves in Shanbei. There are more than 1500 existing grotto statues, reliefs, algae wells and 1144 portraits. Each grotto was excavated in different times, most of which were in the Tang Dynasty, reaching fifteen grottoes. The proportion of stone carvings in the Eastern Wei Dynasty is moderate, realistic and lifelike, while the statues in the Tang Dynasty are more rigorous, refined and exquisite. The stone carvings in Tang Dynasty are vivid, graceful in posture, fluent in knife washing and washing, and have rich texture. The sitting statue of Maitreya Buddha in Cave 9 "Manshan Pavilion" is about 8 meters high, harmonious in proportion, dignified and dignified in appearance; the statue of Guanyin at the lower level is about 11 meters high, plump in shape, rich in Zhang Er and gauze penetration body, while the statue of Puxian, with a smile and self-reliance, is a fine stone sculpture. The poems of Zhang Mian "Tianlong Temple" in Ming Dynasty refer to this scene. On Tianlong Mountain, there are pines and cypresses all over the mountain, especially Panlong Gusonglong tray, winding vertically and horizontally, which provides us with abundant material materials for studying Buddhism, art, sculpture and architecture with its skillful sculpture, appropriate proportion, gentle lines and fine sculpture. It is a model of ancient Chinese sculpture art and occupies an important place in the history of world sculpture art. It plays an extremely important role. Take a minibus from Taiyuan to Qingxu, or take bus No. 8 to get off at Jinci Temple. Then take a detour to Tianlong Mountain behind Jinci Temple and walk along Panshan Highway until you get there. Now you charge for the mountain fee.
Originally, Dongfeng and Xifeng grottoes are being strengthened and renovated. No wonder they are not open. No wonder they are free to visit. Tianlongshan Grottoes, built on the top of 1430 meters above sea level, are also difficult for craftsmen. The most precious grotto statues in the loft can be visited, which is also a little regrettable. It's not bad to learn how to inscribe!!!
Entering the scenic spot, you can first see Panlongsong, which has a long history here. The two stone carvings of the gatekeeper, protected by glass at the gate of the temple, are lifelike. It takes about 20 minutes to climb from the parking lot to the mountain grottoes, which requires little physical strength. Tianlongshan Grottoes are small in scale, totaling more than 20 grottoes. From the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty, the Buddha statues were generally preserved. The head of the Buddha statues was either weathered or stolen. There is more than one cave near Tianlong Mountain, but there are few visitors here. Those who like quiet can come and see it.
Tianlong Mountain and Longshan Mountain are the branches of Taihang Mountain. Grottoes in Shanxi were excavated earlier. The Tianlongshan Grottoes were located at the middle of the cliffs on the East and West peaks. They were excavated during the Eastern Wei Dynasty and continued to be excavated in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. Since many Japanese collaborated with local traitors in the 1920s and 1930s and plundered and destroyed the caves in Tianlong Mountain, only twenty caves have been opened to visitors, and all of them have been destroyed. Tianlong Mountain grottoes are divided into two or three layers. In ancient times, there were trestles built on the walls to worship the worshippers in the grottoes. Now the trestles have been demolished for various reasons. We can only look at the lower grottoes, but we can see that the Buddha statues in the grottoes are either without heads or without arms, because in the eyes of the predators, the head with rich facial expressions is the most valuable, and the head is placed. The hands in all kinds of postures can't be let go, and some can't be taken away, they will be destroyed. Only those Buddha statues embedded in the stone wall survived the death, but because of the long history of the Dynasty and the strong weathering, they can hardly see the facial features. Grotto 9 of Xifeng is the largest grotto on Tianlong Mountain. It is also because the Buddha statues in the grottoes are large, and it is a relatively complete grotto preserved. Outside the cave, a three-storey Manshan pavilion was built to protect the Buddha statue. Visitors can climb up and look up at the Buddha statue at close range. A tall Guanyin image in front of the Buddha statue is exquisite, but unfortunately it has been repaired after being damaged. Looking at the incomplete stone statues in these caves, I feel more and more hated by the international robbers who plundered so many of our treasures and destroyed so many of our historical relics.
