Stamps! They are almost a lost art as technology by way of emailing has virtually taken over written communications where we actually send something in letter form, put it in an envelop, stamp and send. I was an avid stamp collector for many years and was so excited to visit the Philatelic Museum in Singapore. It is both nostalgic and tragic. I root for the return of penpals and sending real letters to family and friends!
Singapore Philatelic Museum (SPM) is located in Armenian Street, a walking distance from Empress Place's Asian Civilization Museum (ACM), National Museum of Singapore (NMS) and Peranakan Museum. It contains collection related to philately, ranging from stamps to postal goods. It also has a modest philately shop offering stamps and tools for collectors. For memento purpose, you can buy stamp(s) and get cancelled (for your philatelic passport) or send a mail through this post office through the old postbox in front of the building. The collections are only modest, and can be seen in about an hour.
