We came here for business entertainment. The food was delicate enough to impress our clients. It tasted good, looked good and our clients were very satisfied. However, we did not like the service. The waiters / waitresses were very passive. They seemed rather indifferent to our needs. Besides, the door of the compartment was broken: totally made the compartment meaningless. Having said that, the food was exceptional indeed. I think the restaurant is perfect for those who do not care about services.
We wanted to enjoy authentic Chinese food and went to this place on recommendation of our local friend. The chicken, mushrooms, prawns, tofu-you name the dish-all were full of chilies. Our kids had tough time in cooling themselves. The price is exorbitant keeping in view the portion they serve, and taste it gives. Only new thing for us was pouring hot water into our cup of Chinese green tea.(See picture). The service was very slow and not warm. We had to call the waiters for several times then they will listen once. Will not visit them again.
As a guest of the hotel we thought we would try what looks like a good Cantonese restaurant. ( guests are given a $20 voucher to entice you by the Park Royal). Agree with other reviewers you have to have the forced prawn crackers and sauces even if you don't want them. We had a set menu for 4.... The serves must have been the smallest in history with only a couple of mouth fills for each main course. We were mostly ignored by the staff who concentrated on locals. The only good thing was the theatre of the tea pourer refilling our Chinese tea. ( we were never asked for any other drinks etc). When I gave waitress voucher she would not honour it. Overall very expensive for very ordinary food and arrogant service. Try else where! who tended to concentrate
