Rolls Group and Collapse Mile belong to the same direction and are far away from buildings such as Angkor, so it's better to arrange a car rental all day. On this day, you can take one of Carmen's "May Blossom" or "Travel through Cambodia and Angkor Temple all over the world" without a tour guide, hold a book, walk slowly, take a close look at every building, fine-grained sculptures in every corner, and sit in the ruins of the past to feel the brilliance of art. Rolls Group is located about 15 kilometers southeast of Siem Reap City, by the existing Temple of Bagong Temple. Bakong, Temple of Preah Ko, Temple of Lolei. All three temples were built at the end of the 9th century. They were the earliest buildings in the Angkor era lasting about 600 years. They were called Beginning of Classic Period of Khmer Art. They all use the same building structure, carving materials and construction methods.
In front of the Temple Pagoda lie three statues of sandstone God bulls. They are the mounts of Shiva, the white bull Nandi, "god bull temple" hence the name. But because of years of erosion and man-made destruction, they have been dilapidated, and the shape of cattle can be seen dimly. The stone lion standing at the temple gate has been here for thousands of years.
The Rollos Site Group, believed to be the beginning of Khmer art, was built during the Angkor Dynasty in the 9th century A.D. and is divided into three sites, namely, the Bakong Temple, the Lolai Temple and the Shenniu Temple. Bakong Temple is the largest and most important temple in the ruins of Rollos. It used to be a large temple in the city center. Its architectural style inherited the influence of Borobudur in Indonesia and was mainly used to worship Linga.
Rolloch Qun is the beginning of Khmer art. He met a boy who spoke to him actively. He said he was a teacher of this school. He used to go to this school too. The monk's robe in Figure 3 is his childhood. The foreigner in the picture below is his teacher. He took us to visit their libraries, classrooms, and some kindly personnel from all over the world, including several computers sent by Chinese people. I asked him why he didn't use them. He said that because they didn't have any electricity, they were sad and cherished the present.
Rollos complex is one of the earliest large and permanent temples built by Khmer people, marking the beginning of the Khmer classical art era. There are mainly Shenniu Temple, Bakong Temple and Loire Temple. After the vicissitudes of time, these temples have been damaged to varying degrees. Therefore, it can be called the Rolls site, but its tall ruins still do not lose the grandeur of the year, people can still see a different kind of beauty from the ruins, or people did not say that we should be good at discovering beauty, let alone for this ancient building, reveal the classical beauty everywhere.
A 45 square kilometre community of ancient Angkor ruins has a site called the Rolls Group, which is located about 12 kilometres southeast of Siem Reap City. Rollos Group was built at the end of the 9th century A.D., known as the beginning of Khmer art. The founder of the Angkor Dynasty, Rolls II, had established several capitals. Rolls was the second. The Angkor Dynasty must have been in this capital for 70 years. However, the vast capitals have vanished, and only three ruins, namely, Bakong Temple, Shenniu Temple and Lolai Temple, exist.
Although not big, a maximum of 20 minutes, but really beautiful. It seems that building materials are not the same. There are many Cambodian children running around barefoot in the scenic spot. It feels like Southeast Asia, and I can't help feeling that why don't I go to school?
