It’s amazing to view the colorful mountains formed over billions of years. We stayed in Zhangye and visiting this park was highlight of our trip. We went to West Bus Station and bought bus ticket to Danxia Geopark for 15 Yuan. The bus stopped right at the entrance. We took internal bus to visit 3 platforms. From what I understand, the 1st platform was closed in that period. The last platform was very colorful but so crowded. There we could see the rock which looks like a turle looking up the sky. People from 60 years old has a discount for entrance ticket so bring your passport. I think ticket can be used for the second day but you need to buy new ticket for internal bus (sight seeing bus).
