Yangmingshan National Park is Taiwan's Third National Park and one of the large natural parks. It has a mild climate, no severe cold and heat. Yangmingshan is not a landmark scenic spot in Taipei, but a back park for Taipei people. It is the largest and most beautiful country park in Taiwan with Chinese garden layout, small bridges and flowing water, pavilions and rockeries. In 1950, Mr. Jiang Zhongzheng changed his name to "Yangmingshan" in memory of Wang Yangming, a scholar of the Ming Dynasty. The scenic spots include Yangming Bookstore, Xiaoyoukeng Recreation Area, Erziping Recreation Area, Datun Recreation Area, Lengshuikeng Area, Qixing Park, Qingtianggang Area, Longfeng Valley Sulfur Valley Recreation Area. There are traffic cars going to various scenic spots on the mountain, but the interval is long and a little inconvenient. Such a good park, people are free of charge, and Yangmingshan is the best place to see Taipei's night scenery.
