The charm of Xuedou Temple lies in its beautiful scenery, long history, the emergence of celebrities, monks and profound cultural connotations. Situated in the heart of Xuedou Mountain "Xiujia Siming", Xuedou Temple, known as Xuedouzi Sacred Chan Temple, has a long history. As early as the Jin Dynasty, there was an old Biqiuni who lived on the top of the mountain to serve Buddha, named "Guanyin Waterfall Courtyard" and then gradually expanded. It reached its peak in the Tang and Song Dynasties. It was called "one of the ten Buddhist temples under heaven" in the Song Dynasty, and was recognized as the Taoist field of "Future Buddha" Maitreya Buddha. Xuedou Temple, which was run by Zen Buddhism, was awarded the honor for its creation. Southern Song Dynasty was cited as one of the "Five Mountains and Ten Chapters" and Ming Dynasty was listed as one of the "Five Chambers and Ten Chapters of Zen Buddhism under Heaven". The Republic of China once ranked among the "Five Famous Buddhist Mountains". The new hall of Xuedou Temple is indeed gorgeous. Look at its ceiling, the golden plaque on the top of the Buddha statue, the 12 oil lamps worshipped, and of course the 300 million yuan emerald Buddha statue.
