On the first day of the Year of the Chicken, warm and sunny weather is very suitable for going out for a walk in the green. Just before the Spring Festival of Ding Younian, Wanshi Botanical Garden opened a new special plant garden, Qiqi Botanical Area. It is said that there are many kinds of interesting plants in it. So I decided to go to the Botanical Garden to hunt Qiqi. Qiqi Botanical Area is located next to Baihua Hall. You can enter from the back of Baihua Hall to the Moon Tower or go out of the gate of Baihua Hall. You can see the gate of Qiqi Botanical Area by turning right at the first intersection in the direction of Rose Garden and then going up a section of hill. The area of the park is not small. After entering it, it is like entering a fantastic world. The first thing you see is a big-bellied white-blossomed kapok. This shape is different from our common trees. The trunk is much thicker, so it is also commonly known as Maitreya. Walking inside is the warm room and the cold room, the greenhouse and the cold room are lightweight and creative. In the greenhouse, there are many pineapple plants and insectivorous plants in different forms, including pitcher grass and fly trap, which we often hear about, and their pride can be seen here. One of the drawbacks is that the glass placed on the pitcher grass is too dirty, there are many scales, which have a little impact on the ornamental effect and photographic effect. Cold room is mainly Begonia plants, colorful flowers set off the festival festival. I visited a circle of interesting botanical areas and saw a lot of other strange plants, but I really gained insight. During the Spring Festival, besides the exotic botanical areas, the National Peony Exhibition of Baihua Hall is also worth seeing. We can enjoy peony flowers of different colors and shapes.
