Baiyun Mountain is located in Biyang County. It is the highest peak in Zhumadian, 983 meters above sea level. It is also the watershed between the Yangtze River and the Huaihe River. Baiyun Mountain is called Baimao Duo in ancient times. It is said that it will rain once the clouds in Baiyun Mountain "wear hats". The south hillside is relatively gentle. There are highways from the mountain gate to the hillside, buses in scenic spots and a platform on the hillside for parking. From the platform to the top of the mountain, the Jade Emperor's Palace is a pedestrian walk. It is said that it is a temple. A hilly courtyard on the east side is a place left by the Tang Lao Dao (which has passed away immortally). Towards the top of the mountain, there are pieces of Forsythia on both sides of the road (called Huanghua Gate locally), and then up there is the Jade Emperor's Palace. Looking down from the top of the mountain, you can see the feeling of "looking at all the small mountains". The north side of the mountain is steep, and below it is the world's famous Banqiao Reservoir, the source of the 75.8 flood, which was rebuilt in 87 years.
