Located in the southwest of West Lake, it faces water on three sides and leans on mountains on one side. It is a large park covering more than 300 acres. At the foot of Huajia Mountain behind the Damailing Mountains in Xishan, there is a clear stream flowing through this area into the West Lake, so it is called Huagang. In the Southern Song Dynasty, Nei Shi Lu Yunsheng built a villa under Huajia Mountain, called "Luyuan", planted flowers and fish in the garden, with clear water and beautiful scenery. Later, the Luyuan Garden was abandoned and the scene declined. During the Southern Tour of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, on the site of Dingxiang Temple between Yingbo Bridge and Sudi Sulan Bridge, fish farming was rebuilt in ponds, pavilions and gardens were built, and stone tablets were erected with the inscription "Huagang Guanyu".
