Founded in Wude, Tang Dynasty, in 622, it is the joint Tomb of Emperor Yang Guang and Empress Xiao of the second generation of Sui Dynasty. The Mausoleum of Emperor Yangdi in Sui Dynasty covers an area of 30,000 square meters. It is composed of stone archways, mausoleum gates, stone bridges, altars, Shidao, city walls, stone tablets, side halls and tombs. Apart from the stone archways, the mausoleum gates are built later, the rest are historical relics. But nowadays, it's too cold, and the ponds and green areas beside it are not cleaned and in a mess! The tickets are only 20 yuan a person, which is not worth visiting specially. I hope that the Yangzhou government will make a good plan here and not let such a monument lose its proper color!
