Tokyo Tower (Japanese: Tokyo is a landmark building in Tokyo. It is located in Chi Park, Tokyo's capital Port area, 332.6 meters high. Tokyo Tower is mainly used to send radio waves such as TV and radio, and JR train stop signal when a major earthquake occurs. It also has functions of navigation beacon, wind direction and wind speed measurement, temperature measurement and so on. The Tokyo Tower was built on the model of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It was completed on October 14, 1958. It has been the tallest building in Tokyo since then. Until the completion of the Clear Sky Tower in Tokyo (634 meters) on February 29, 2012, it was the second tallest building in Tokyo. The top three are the Khalifa Tower in Dubai (828 meters) and the Clear Sky Tower in Tokyo (634 meters) and the Shanghai Center Building (632 meters). The color of the Tokyo Tower is red and white because of air traffic regulations to facilitate identification. In recent years, the public's landscape requirements have been improved, the tower no longer has color restrictions, but the original color has been retained. Lighting is presided over by world renowned lighting designer Shi Jing Ganzi. Lighting time is between sunset and midnight. Lighting color varies with season, white in summer, orange in spring, autumn and winter. Tokyo Tower has a large observatory at 150 meters and a special observatory at 249.9 meters. It has a view of the Tokyo Capital and a view of Mount Fuji on a sunny day. Just below the tower is a four-storey Tokyo Tower. Besides the entrance and exit to the Outlook Desk, there are also a Tokyo Tower Aquarium and a variety of souvenir shops. As analog television broadcasting in Japan ended on July 24, 2011, digital television replaced it. In order to improve the reception quality, the Tokyo Clear Sky Tower, located in Mouta District, Tokyo, with a height of 634 meters, replaced the Tokyo Tower with a TV signal transmission function.
